Mods causing glitch

I'm also having trouble with mods, even though I've updated them after For Rent came out. NONE of them work. I've tried it with only non-script mods & with only MCCC (which is updated). Clicking on MCCC on a Sim or a computer doesn't do anything AT ALL. The UI for the landlord to select renters is grayed out & unusable & I couldn't assign rooms/apartments in Build/Buy. I had to disable all mods or remove them entirely for everything to work properly.
The only mod that isn't updated since For Rent is Weerbesu's UI Cheat but that was the first one I removed. Didn't help.
I can play the game without them but I miss the decor mods & MCCC especially.
Any suggestions?
