    @knifeears  Does your computer run Windows or macOS?  This issue is typically caused by OneDrive or iCloud Drive, respectively, first uploading your original data (this would have been a while ago) and then redownloading it when you delete it from your computer.  New files are typically not deleted, but it's possible if your cloud storage is full or close to it.  This is not me suggesting that you buy more storage—in fact, please don't unless you have another reason to do so—just saying that this may complicate things.

    The temporary fix is to access OneDrive or iCloud and delete the files there.  The long-term solution is to stop the automatic syncing of your files.  You can still upload and download manually; just don't let the service do it for you on its own schedule.
