@IndrianaYT Please move the entire Mods folder to your desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Launch the game to create a new Mods folder, enable mods and custom content, and quit. Download a new copy of one mod confirmed compatible with the current patch level (1.84), add it to your game, and see whether you have the same issue.
If that mod is fine, it's possible that your other mods are corrupt, and you'll need to download new ones. If you get another crash with the new mod, let me know whether you've set up Parallels to share data between Windows and macOS. You can test this by creating a file and dropping it into Documents in macOS: if it appears in Documents in Windows, the data is being shared.

@puzzlezaddict I tried out your suggestions, and I still got another crash. I also checked, and I have not set up Parallels to share data between Windows and macOS.

@IndrianaYT When you downloaded a new mod, did you do so in macOS and then transfer the file to Windows? I'm wondering if it somehow became corrupted along the way. An easy test is to download the file in macOS, then zip it or leave it zipped before transferring it to Windows.
If that doesn't help, please move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts, or rename it, and launch the game to create a clean folder. Enable mods and custom content, quit, and repeat the above, making sure that whatever mod you use to test is compatible with the current game version (1.84).
Please also make sure you're running the current game version. In Windows, it should be exactly 1.84.171.1030.
And just in case it matters, please let me know how much RAM you've told Parallels to reserve for Windows.

I've allocated 4CPUs and 4GB of RAM to parallels. The current game version that I'm running is 1.84.197.1030. -- not sure if that's why it's not working?
