Mods not working on Mac

So I had the sims in origin my mods did not appear so I uninstalled it and downloaded the EA app, downloaded the sims 4 once more and went to the electronic arts > the sims 4 > mods, and placed all the mods I downloaded and even opened the game to change the settings and allow mods and script mods, but every time I launch it, they still don’t appear, I need help also my mac is updated to the lastest version and so are the sims 4, since I downloaded it some hours ago.

  • @constzab If the issue is that your game keeps turning the game option to allow mods/CC off, please see this: https://answers.ea.com/t5/PC/CURRENT-ISSUE-Anti-Virus-blocking-User-Folder-Screenshots/td-p/9572695

If that doesn't help, please let us know where it is they aren't showing. Do they show in the list at the start of the game but don't show up in CAS or gameplay, for example?

Please also let us know any other steps you've tried - new user folder generation, etc.

Nope! They never show up, not in the start nor when I click on show mods in the game settings. And no, it doesn’t ever turn off in the game, it’s always on but the mods are never there. I haven’t even started a new game because I want to make sure when I create my sim it has cc features.

@luthienrising I have also deleted my ea folder and repaired the game to get a new one, moves the mods to the new mods folder and still not… custom cc is unzipped, as you can see I have it all ordered in subfolders and even tried moving my cc out of the subfolders and just put all the cc in the mods folder but it won’t work.
