Mods not working

Question

Hi! I was wondering if anyone could help me. I just purchased a samsung galaxy book 4 with intel c3. I’ve been trying for over a day to download packs and mods but have been failing. I’ve downloaded the files, unzipped them, moved them into the mods folder and it still doesn’t work. I’ve restarted my laptop, sims4, cleared my cache. enabled mods and strict mods, and still nothing. Can anybody help? I bought this laptop just for the sims4 as i want to be able to use mods and you can’t do so on PS5 which is what i’ve been previously using for sims4.&nbsp;

Hiii, if in the search bar of the archive's explore of your mods folder shows up something like 'onedrive', could be it, you just have to stop syncronizing it, also in mods folder should be a file callled 'resource.cgf', also there are 2 options for cc and script modes in game, check they both are enabled

Thank you! I already got rid of one drive and made sure my sims4 is going to my pc storage rather than the cloud. I’ll give the file thing a go though i’m not sure if i seen the resourse.cgf, do you know how to get that file back if i’ve accidentally deleted it ?&nbsp;
