mods not working

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? have mccc and go onto the game. What happens when the bug occurs? the mod doesn't load at all. What do you expect to see? the mod icon when clicking the sim. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? YesDid this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? YesPlease describe the patch or change you made. updated sims. ‌So I updated my game and a few of my mods arent working but others are, so I know its not because the script isnt on or they have been placed in the wrong place. The last time I played before the update they were working perfectly fine, but since the update nothing for the mods in game show up. Such as mccc, clicking on the sim the icon for the mccc settings doesnt show up. I even redownloaded the mod and had it as the only mod activated to see if something was messing with it but it still didnt work, but some other mods are working perfectly like the roommates mod. Anyone else having any issues?

Updates to the game break a lot of mods. You'll want to check with the creator of the mod to be sure you're using the most up to date version of the mod and that it isn't broken

MCCC was updated a couple of days after the patch. Before every update/patch/pack/etc, it is recommended that you remove all mods. There are various threads in the Answers HQ and Sims forum (and Curseforge) with news about the broken/obsolute/updated mods. @darkangel1213 Just to add to the previous posts directing you to Broken/Updated Mods , this patch broke many, many mods that aren't listed there. Creators are still working through their mods and many won't announce what's broken; instead, they'll update what they see needs updating then (for some modders) clear the rest as not needing updating. You might, after looking up Broken/Updated lists (which are updated often), still need to remove broken mods that you find using the 50-50 method. Finally, there's a helpful section in How to Use Mods and CC about what happens when the game updates.
