Mods showing at startup but not in game

For months now my mods have been listed when I load into the main menu but don't appear actually in game on my Mac. I only use two mods and both are up to date. Are there any fixes to this or has anyone else also experienced this?

    Confirm:

    1. The Mods are installed in the correct location.
REMEMBER. Script Mods can be placed no more than 1 folder deep inside the Mods folder, and Package mods are allowed up to 5.

    2. The path is: Documents/ElectronicArts/The Sims4/Mods (yes, even on Mac)

    3. Make sure you have any additional required utility mods for the mods you're using. (sometimes Modders require additional mods to make their mods work in game. Some common ones are: XML Injector, MoodPacks, Toolkits, Lot51_core and others. Make sure to always read the complete description of any mods you download, for conflicting mods and any additional required ones. (You should only place Utility Mods DIRECTLY inside the Mods folder) this will ensure you don't have duplicates.

    After Confirming, Try This:

    Exit game.
Delete the localthumbcache package AND the Game Version Txt from the Sims 4 folder.
Then start game again, Hope it works for you!

    Happy-Simming! ^^
