For me, the only one I really can't live without so far is the faster careers mod over at mod the sims. I'm sad to admit that I seem to have a very short attention span and get bored easily which forces me to play on short lifespan so I get new sims more often. Because of that, without the faster careers mod, my simmies would NEVER reach the end of their career paths because they are usually nearly elders or already elders on normal (for me. I probably am just plum at the game) lifespan. So without that careers mod, my sims would die unfulfilled!
