Multiple births

No notifications. I just checked the sim families out in manage households and noticed all the multiples.  Every time a Sim has a baby, they keep having them. There doesn't seem to be more than ten babies per household, but the mothers do keep having them, and the game deletes the extras leaving just the bassinette behind.  If I go into the household, all the sims older than infant will disappear, except for the mother. It's so weird!

So you're not having this issue WHILE you play the family but only if you play another household ?

Ughhhh I’m going through this right now on my game too. Not sure what is causing this to happen. 

The multiple births seem to be connected to MCCC in my game.  I tried a game with clean Mods folder, a folder with just MCCC, and a folder with other mods, but not MCCC.  The MCCC only folder was the one that consistantly produced multiples.  Seems like a conflict between it and something in the last update. Still happening as of mid-June.

Sim_MRM​ Test in a new save. This isn't a known issue with MCCC; if it were, we'd have hundreds - literally - of reports. I recommend going to Deaderpool's server for support. 

Using a new save has already been done. It's MCCC or something in the game affected by it. Tested it all alone as a mod and the multiple births happen.  Quite a few people are experiencing this issue.

Sim_MRM​ I'm not seeing reports of your issue in the Deaderpool server. Please do this precise test, every step in order:

Part 1:

1. Rename the Sims 4 folder (the one mods is in)
2. Run a Game Repair
3. Start the game
4. Start a new save and play for a bit in the way you normally do.
5. answer this: Do you get the multiple babies problem for Part 1?

Part 2: 

1. Download and install a fresh copy of MCCC. See Broken and Updated Mods and CC for info on what's current and where.
2. Test in your new save.
3. answer this: Do you get the multiple babies problem for Part 2?

Part 3:

1. Copy your old save into the new Saves folder
2. Remove MCCC from Mods
3. Test in your old save.
4. answer this: Do you get the multiple babies problem for Part 3?

Part 4:

1. Put MCCC (the fresh download) back in Mods.
2. Test in your OLD save.
3. answer this: Do you get the multiple babies problem for Part 4?

For me it's both sims and pets having multiple births. It only seems to be households that I have actually played. I checked my MCCC settings just to make sure the numbers weren't nerfed. I can deal with it at the moment as long as I remember NOT to enter that household. It's a newish save for me and I am kind of curious as to what the game is going to do with all these new additions. 😅

greenb70​ Please test in a new save with no mods at all. Then test with ONLY a fresh copy of MCCC. See Broken and Updated Mods and CC for which version is current.
