I put my cc in the mods folder and all of my old cc is in my game but my sims aren't wearing their cc clothes and their cc furniture isn't placed. Does this mean I will have to put my sims back into their cc clothing and place all of my cc furniture on my own?
I quit without saving. I was scared that saving would make it impossible to fix
Are you really sure that the Sims 4 folder that contains your saves folder also contains the Mods folder and the CC is in that Mods folder? You haven't renamed anything?
Please could you click on your Mods folder once to select it then go to File > Get Info. Under the General > Where section near the top of the info window please copy and paste the location of your Mods folder here. Make sure this is the Mods folder that contains your CC that you're missing.
