My families/saved games are disappearing from their lots
Hello,
I'm very upset about this problem and I hope it can be fixed somehow.
I've bought a couple Sims 4 Expansion Packs and Kits recently. And every time I did and started a new family to try out my new purchases, I eventually realize that the previous family I was playing had completely disappeared from their lots. And it's as if I've never played them. They can still be found in the Library, but it's like they were saved there after I made them in CAS, but the actually playthrough I did with them had disappeared from the game. Families I've been playing this month, completely vanished and I'm only left with the last two families I played. Is there a way to restore those games ? I've spent days doing the Strangerville story, and even more getting a Sim to Celebrity level in Get Famous, but now they're both gone as if they never existed.
If I go in the ''Households'' tab, there is only the last one I've created. Also I have no mods or CCs in my game.
Does anyone know what's going on ? I'm scared of creating a new family now, I don't want my previous ones to vanish too !!

- @Frousteph If you start a new game, it starts an entirely new save with nothing in it. If you want to just add a family to your existing save, you need to do that from within the game.
You can do that by loading your existing save and then on the map instead of choosing your family, click on the button in the lower right corner to create a new family. That will take you to CAS.
If you want to move over your current families to just one save go, do as follow:
- Load the save game that has the family in it that you want to move over
- Load the family in CAS (either through dresser/mirror or through the household manager)
- Save the family to your library (everything except relationships/money should be kept)
- Exit the save and load the save game you want the family to be in
- On the map, click on that button in the lower right corner.
- When in CAS, load the family from your library
- Place the family in your game.
