My mod and cc won’t show up

@Slxxm  Do you still want to troubleshoot on the Mac?  It sounds like you removed your mods and custom content from the "wrong" Sims 4 folder, as in, not the one the game was reading.  That's easy to do if you open the iCloud version of Documents rather than the one stored locally on your computer.

To get to the local version of Documents, open a Finder window, click Macintosh HD (or whatever you've named your hard disk), then Users > your username > Documents > Electronic Arts.

For the Windows PC, it again sounds like you may have added the custom content to the wrong folder.  Here's how to find your user folder:

When you say your households aren't showing up, do you mean in the online Gallery or your own library?  For the former, make sure you check the box that allows you to include items with custom content.  For your own library, you'd need to manually transfer the files from your Mac.  Let me know whether you've tried to do this, and if not, whether you need help with the process.

i deleted origin and sims off of my mac because however i will look into what you said because i do have 2 electronic folders that where popping up on my macbook pro. 

However with the windows i followed your website on how to find user folder and its connected to this computer, its not getting files from somewhere else. and its not showing up in my library. ive downloaded some households from the sims account i follow on patreon and it used to work however now nothing. Every problem im having i didnt have when i first started playing sims on my mac

@Slxxm  That's not my website, it's Crinrict's.  But anyway, please post a screenshot of the folder that contains the files you downloaded.  (You can use Windows key-shift-S to capture the section of screen you want.)  Include the address bar, above the list of files, in the screenshot.

@Slxxm  Your content is all on the desktop.  It needs to be in This PC > Users > your username > Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods.
