@nnnomme313 Don't make your own Mods folder. You need the game to make it, and you need it to do it in the right place. Drag the one you made to the desktop (so you'll still have the mods you downloaded) and delete the localthumbcache file, start the game, check that you have mods enabled in the Game Options, then exit the game. Now you'll have a mods folder. Information about where to look for it are under Installation in How to Use Mods and CC .
I'm having this same problem, I've deleted the localthumbcache file, moved the sims 4 file, moved the mod file, deleted/reinstalled the game and nothing is working. No new files are being created.

LocalClownJester Unless you deleted the Mods folder and it's not in the Recycle bin, you don't have the same problem. Please make a new thread explaining what your problem is.
