My Mods aren't working on harddrive
I moved my Sims folder onto an external hard drive because I had an issue where when I left my lot and came back it would revert back to the original state for example if I went to a prebuilt house and redid it and left when I came back it would revert to the original state. This issue also happened on empty lots and in Apartments. I moved the sims onto the hard drive cause I was told it happened cause I was out of space. Secondly, after I moved my Sims folder onto the hard drive all my mods stopped working. For example, MCCC and Tmex stopped working while my build mode and Cas CC still worked.
@evatheplayer Sims 4 looks for the user folder in Documents > Electronic Arts and won't read it anywhere else. If you want to store your mods and other user data in another location, you'll need to use a symbolic link to tell the game where to look. Here's how:
