my sim is pregnant and ready to give birth, but she won't have the baby?????

Hi, I know its been years but I'm having a similar experience, except that when my sim gave birth, the baby disappears. Like, completely physically not in the game but the baby is shown in my sims mood ?? 

 

Idk how to explain it. The newborn is in the lower screen shown, but not in the game itself.
