my sim wont eat/question marks next to food actions

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? let my poor sim eat
What happens when the bug occurs? sim wont eat, the food will just completely disappear when taking a serving. hunger bar stays green even when its super low. anything to do with food has a question mark, for example, "grab serving?" "cook?" "clean up?", etc.
What do you expect to see? the sim should eat and the hunger should change color when decreasing
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes

hi, my sim will not eat at all. my household has 12 sims in total, all of them have cc/mods and none of them have this problem and eat normally. 

anything to do with food usually has a question mark, for example, "grab serving?", "cook?", "clean up?", etc. any time i give him a command to eat, the food disappears from his hand. along with that, his hunger bar is ALWAYS green, even when its low and suppose to change to yellow or red. he can cook and serve food but he cant pick up any and eat it. i dont understand what the problem is???

i dont know how to fix this issue, he keeps dying from starvation and im just confused as to what the problem is D:
