Move out your whole Mods folder to the desktop and delete the localthumbcache.package file in the Sims 4 folder. Launch the game and see if it now works.

It worked without the mods. So I put them back in but it did not work.

Then one or more of your mods is out of date/conflicting with another mod and you need to find out which one by process of elimination. Move them all out and then back in in small batches, testing to see if your game works after adding each batch. When it stops working move out the batch you just added and then from that batch add in one mod at a time until you've found the mod(s) causing the issue.- 6 years ago
