My sims 4 page says “Maxis does not pre-screen or support mods...” what do I do?

I have all of the options needed to get cc and it knows that it’s in the game. My cc that I downloaded for CAS will not pop up. Is so one able to tell me what I’m doing wrong?

@CharliandLarray It could be that the mods need to be updated. You should consult the makers of the mods that are not showing up for help with that.

Also, if you have any CC that is in Zip or RAR files in your folder, they won't show up. Things need to be extracted from those files to show up.

Another problem that is common is putting the CC in folders within folders. Most CC cannot be more than one folder deeper than the mod folder itself. For instance, you can have folders within the mod folders, but those folders should not have folders within them. Pull them out of the folders and put them directly into the Mod folder.

    @alinamisis 

    Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game
    If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.
