My Sims 4 game won't launch anymore. I’ve tried repairing the game several times, but that hasn't worked. The game launches fine without mods, but fails to start when mods are included. I don't know which specific mod is causing the issue, as I’m not getting any error messages related to them, so I’m unsure how to get the game working again with my mods.
I am literally having the same problem. I launch through Curseforge & the game launched perfectly yesterday. Now, whenever I try to launch the game the EA App keeps popping up instead, without giving me any error messages. I tried the new folder thing & it worked perfectly without mods of course. The game was working fine after the 8/25/26 update & now its just not working for some reason. BTW I haven't downloaded any new CC & all my other ones are up to date.
Mine is doing the same! I have removed the CC that it is saying is causing it. I have re-installed the game. I have repaired the game. I have tried removing some of the CC and mods but it will not let me get in the game and just keeps giving me an error message. The game crashed yesterday before I had even installed this bit of CC and I hadn't tried to play the game with it. Soooo frustrating!
