After updating the sims game, I'm telling Sims to walk somewhere and the symbol for something blocking the way comes up and they don't do it, even though there is nothing in the way.I tried to get two Sims to cloudgaze, it doesn't work an the path issue icon comes up above their head. I try to get them to sit or use the computer and get a pathing issue and it's cancelled.Using debug/reset doesn't even work to fix the character that is stuck.

Did you ever figure out what was causing this? I've been having the same problem and its in more than lot and more than one household. It says something that is not even close to the door or pathway is blocking them. It makes no sense.
Hi @Emily803 Please test without mods, as an outdated mod or wrongly installed one could be causing this.
Exit Sims 4 then drag your Mods folder to your desktop. Then delete the file called localthumbcache from Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. If you think you might accidentally forget to exit without saving after testing, copy your Saves folder to your desktop too, to back it up. Now open Sims 4 and see if you still have the problem. If you don't, you can start the process of figuring out what from your Mods folder was causing it.
