My sims icons at the bottom right are mixed up

@ix_soar  This sounds like the effects of an outdated UI Cheats mod, so please remove it if you have it, and delete localthumbcache.package as well.  If that doesn't (or didn't) help, please move your entire Mods folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, delete localthumbcache again, and test.

I deleted and reinstalled the UI extension and it was fixed. Not sure if you have mods. If you don’t I would try a repair 

@mariana102004  It's likely a mods issue.  Please remove them and delete localthumbcache.package as well, and test.

@mariana102004  Please move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop.  When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and other content will be in the folder you've moved but temporarily not read by the game.)  Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just see whether things look normal in a new save.

If not, please change the in-game resolution a couple times.

If that doesn't help either, please post a couple of screenshots showing the issue.

@MOpoku11  Test your mods and figure out which one or ones are causing the problem.  If you have a lot of mods and custom content, the 50/50 method can make the process more efficient:

I had searched everywhere for an answer because my buttons at the bottom were all jumbled and whatever I did seemed to never work until I found Youtuber Darielle's video in which she said delete all mods in your folders that contain "ts4".This worked for me, though I will have to see if the mods I deleted will be updated to be compatible. 

Hi @referredtoasl . That's some odd advice as very few script mods will have been broken by any particular game update. Please head up in https://answers.ea.com/t5/Game-and-Mod-CC-Issues/bd-p/the-sims-4-game-issues-mods-en to see the pinned post about how to use mods and CC. In the post on Broken/Updated Mods , you'll find regularly updated lists of mods affected by the current patch. Check the post on current issues as well! That can be helpful in a more general way and also includes tips on what to do at game update time.

In your case, you probably only need to remove UI Cheats Extension until it's updated.
