My sims keep saying there is something in the way when I make them do stuff

My sims keep ignoring me when I tell them to do something vital for their needs. They just keep doing the pop up which means they can’t get to it. I do use mods so if it is a mod I’ll do 50/50 method later. But if it is to do with the game can someone please help? All the old suggestions mention origin but i believe origin got removed so I only have EA now. Any suggestions? (These problems started when my sim got pregnant, I was in the middle of playing and suddenly they wouldn’t stop going in the pool and swimming, even if I told them to do something different, I did remove the pool and they now just stand around and do nothing)

  • @libss_lol Please try without the Mods/CC and see if that fixes the issue:

    Spoiler
Exit the game. Move the Mods folder from your "The Sims 4" folder [Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4] to your desktop (save it for reference) and delete the localthumbcache.package file in your “The Sims 4” folder. Then check in a new game save to see if this issue is still occurring. You can then test without saving – or in a new vanilla game save – in order to identify which CC/Mods are causing the issue. Then remove or add updated version(s) of the Mod/CC causing the issue.

Also, you could start by checking the list of Mods/CC with known issues, in case you have one or more of them in your game:
