Need Help Deleting Embarrassing Custom Clothing

1) How do you delete custom content like hairs and clothing from the game? I need a way to see what I'm deleting.

2) There's a custom content outfit that is causing my Sim embarrassment around his family. Is there a program that I can use to edit the custom clothing so it won't cause the embarrassed emotion. I like the outfit. I just need to edit it somehow.

What you can do is make a Sim wearing the items you would like to remove and save them to your library. Then close the game. You can then use The Sims 4 Tray Importer to identify the files and delete them from your Mods folder. There are versions for PC and MAC.
