Does anybody know if this affects our active Sims as well? Could this be the solution for Sims getting too fat or muscular? I changed mine to those settings to see what would happen.

I am so sorry. I really don't know the answer to your questions about Cleaner. Glad you're willing to be a guinea pig... please let me know what happens with these settings?
Work weeks (3d shift 7 nights running, it kicks off with an evil 2nd shift for the first of 8 shifts straight) are brutal. But it gives me every OTHER week off, so it's worth it. But my time is a lot more scattered this week than it will be next week... I'll be around more, starting Monday. I haven't really PLAYED in 3 days, just been surfing, fielding questions, sleeping and working.
You probably didn't mean it this way, but this post set off my (self-esteem issues-generated) defense mechanism "omg she's mad cause I didn't write back soon enough!!!" I hope that's not true... I'm doing my best, but last night at work was WEIRD and it took me some getting over. Plus, reinstalled origin, windows update, repaired game... all time eaters.
I did go to the mod page and ask for help from users with Cleaner, Dresser and Mac experience, so hopefully, more brilliance will be incoming. My brilliance is feeling a little dim, this evening.
I am TIRED, folks!! (But Fridays at work are usually pretty fun nights.)
