Neighborhood Stories with MCCC?

First time playing since Story Progression was released. For now I opted to keep all MCCC modules active since the mod only do a sweep per Sim week while the Neighborhood Stories check every Sim 24 hours so they shouldn't fight too much while I get to keep functionality like renaming townie babies etc.

Is this a good idea?

As far as I understand it, without MCCC you don't get new marriages, so you still have to go in when all new kids have grown up to "pair them up" for new marriages for the next gen?

Also, Story Progression never splits households, only moves in and out complete households?

  • You can customize the settings of story progression but It will form new marriages and households in the game. It shouldn't interfere with MCCC.

Huh, because everything I have read so far says that the built in story progression 1. cannot split households, 2. cannot handle marriages, and 3. can only move whole households.
