New Update Glitches

Hi,
So since the new update and pack, my game is acting out. I updated all the mods too but still there are some problems.

1. Every time I ask my sim to eat something, they grab something from the fridge but then they glitch and drop the food on the floor. Now I have to wait until they decide to eat their food. And I have to wait until they finish it, because if I give them another task, they just glitch again.

2. I lose progress even though I saved. Whenever something occurs like the glitch above, I save and exit the game. In my case, I started playing the game on a friday, where my sim already had a baby (and this is how I noticed there was something up) and was taking care of him. I played until it was monday, my baby aged up into a toddler and I was making some progress on that too. But then the game started lagging and behaving and I decided to save and exit the game. I restarted the game, hoping I would just be able to catch up on where I exited, but my game just started on Friday again and my toddler turned back into a baby. The weird thing is that one: my baby wasn't on the same spot in her room, but in my other daughters room in a new basket and two: not actually all the progress was lost. Like the friends that I added on Social buddy were still there and all the messages too, and my sim was already pregnant again, but she didn't lose that progress (that just keeps the same).

3. The game keeps lagging and it takes a long time before my sims want to do the task.

Is there any way that I can fix it myself, or Is it a problem that other players also have?

PS: I tried to repair the game multiple times to and searched for updates, but nothing works.
