I tried deleting reshade and im bad at working computers so i thought just throwing the software in bin and deleting it would permanently take it off my pc, but now i installed and reinstalled sims 4 because when i tried opening it it says my pc cant find the app, after reinstalling it it downloads to the Bin folder where reshade used to be, and everytime i reinstall it wont make a new sims 4 folder or let me take it out of bin ☹️

  • @razorblderomance  I'm not quite following what you're trying to do here.  But if you're looking for the Sims 4 folder in Documents\Electronic Arts, it won't get created again until you launch the game once.

If there are files in the Bin folder you think don't belong there, please post a screenshot of the entire Bin folder.

I don't use reshade, but I just googled, and there's an installer with options, which... yeah. For mods, you can easily just throw them away, but apparently reshade isn't the same thing. It puts files in other locations than just your mods folder, for example.

I found this article on uninstalling Reshade and hopefully that'll help you out even though it's talking about Steam. https://gamezo.co.uk/the-sims-4-how-to-uninstall-reshade/

    There's also this: https://reshade.me/forum/general-discussion/4398-howto-uninstall-reshade

P.S. If it helps, I googled "uninstalling reshade" and got a lot of links with very confused people! It's not just you!
