@AngelicaMontanez It sounds like you're not looking for the Mods folder in the correct place. Please go in-game and find the full file path to your user folder, as described here:
https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2018/07/how-to-find-your-user-folder/
Then open that Sims 4 folder, and you should see a Mods folder inside.
