No Option to Plan Wedding Event

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.86.166.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Everything except: Kids Room, Fitness, Toddler, My Wedding Stories, and any of the kits
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Get engaged, try to plan wedding event.
What happens when the bug occurs? I am unable to plan a wedding event.
What do you expect to see? An option to plan a wedding event.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

As can be seen from a moodlet in my screenshot, my sim is recently engaged. I go into the calendar to plan the wedding event and there is no option to plan one. I can't find it in the mobile phone either. I am also unable to 'elope immediately'. I have a wedding arch in the back yard which I can plan a wedding event on for immediately but it is the old menu style and I cannot invite the guests I want or edit it later. I only have MCCC installed and once I disabled it, I was able to plan an event by clicking on the fiance when she's visiting, but again this was the old menu style and for immediately. I swapped to the fiance and she is the same. Neither of them have any traits that would conflict and I turned lifestyles off.

Just out of curiosity, I tried a vow renewal with an already married couple in the household but am still unable to find any options. 

Tried repairing my game, to no avail.

I even tried a different save, one started more recently and the event option still isn't available.

    @crinrict I'm not tech-savvy and this reply scared me lol so I didn't try it but I did just update my game with the SDX and the wedding option is where it should be in the normal events section. Thank you for helping 🙂

    Yes, I mentioned that in the post. Game Repair did not fix it for any Sims or Saves

    @UvThe1st 

    I only just see that you don't own the wedding pack (the except also evaded my eyes 🙂). Does it not show under normal events like it did before ? The special event is only there if you own the pack. I don't think anything was changed from the way it was before for those who don't own the pack.

    @ninaknx Do you own the pack ?

    Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

    You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

    After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

    Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

    • Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
    • Tray Folder
    • Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
    • Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
    • Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
    • ConfigOverride, if you have your own configuration files.
    • Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

    The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

    I have done it all,,,I just tried a newly reset game with no CC and I cannot plan any wedding events. All options grey out. Tried on an engaged couple from her side and his and a vow renewal on a married couple...still greyed out. Tried to add event to calendar. No,

    My computer is always up to date. I have spent two days on this problem and am very unhappy
