No sleep interaction after installed High School Years

After I installed the HSY pack the first bug I notice (that I've now solved) was that my sims couldn't eat, this was caused by CC beds (the problem solved after they were removed from the lot). I don't know whether the other bug (still unsolved) started happening at the same time that the other one did or after I removed the beds. There is no interaction when I click on the sim's beds to sleep even though all the others are available. I had saved the game after fixing the eating bug before i had found the sleep bug, I have tried swapping out the bed (not cc) for another one (also not cc) but there is still no interaction.
