None of my CC is Showing Up in Game

If anyone could help me out with this I'd really appreciate it.

So as the title says, none of my CC will show up in game. I have only tried to download .package files, things like hair and some clothes. Mostly things dowloaded from TSR. I have them in my mods folder, and I have the resource.cfg file. I don't have more than one sub-folder. I turned on mods/cc in settings. There is no pop-up when I start the game telling me what CC I have.
I have no idea what's wrong with it, it's acting like I just didn't download anything. I could do CC for sims 3 just fine.
If anyone has any solutions, thank you!

I replaced my old resource.cfg with the one from this link and restarted the game, still nothing.
I really appreciate that you're trying to help me, I'm sorry nothing is working.. It's very frustrating
  • Did you save the game while the CC was disabled? If so, try rolling back your save. (See my signature.)
  • @luthienrising
I didn't today. Would it count if I have ever saved at all while having CC disabled?
  • Is the mods/cc showing up in the pop up window when you start the game?
  • Another thing to try is to move the options.ini file that is in the sims 4 folder, to the desktop. Then start the game, Go to game options, and you will need to reset your settings again. Make sure you ensble cc/mods and the script mods settings again. Then exit the game. Restart the game and see if the mods/cc appear.,
  • @rosemow I got rid of the options.ini file and restarted the game, but when I went to options they still were set to allow cc and mods? Why would this be? They should have gone back to default, right?
  • Are your mods/cc showing up now?

If they are still not appearing, try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then add back the "options.ini" file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders.

Repairing the game may help. To do that, right click on the sims 4 picture in Origin and click repair.
