Not able to place anything in Build/Buy

Hi! So I am having an issue where I can't place anything in build/buy mode since the Oct 22 2024 patch update. If I try to place anything down, it says "script failed to load". It's not just custom content but base game or expansion pack content too. I've tried in a new save and old saves but I get the same error code. It usually ends up crashing my game. 

Also, in old saves, some of the furniture is missing? Like a desk with books and a laptop and a couch and a dresser with some clutter on it. I don't think it's all CC that's missing but I honestly don't remember. 

I have no issues in CAS. It's purely when I try to place sims in the world that the game either crashes or it isn't working at all. 

As far as I know, all my CC and mods have been updated or are okay with the new update. Anything that hasn't been updated or is still broken has been turned off or deleted from my mods folder for the moment. I have repaired the game several times but I'm still getting the same error code. I have never had this happen before so I am at a loss as to what the issue is or how to fix it. Any help or ideas on how to fix the issue is appreciated! Thanks
