not working on Mac
I keep trying to play on the MacBook Air and it doesn't even load up the screen like the EA app just sits there but nothing comes up. Today 11/16/2025 the sims page pops up then shows when it's about...

Do you have mods or CC in your Mods folder? If so, please do a "vanilla" test: Drag the Mods folder to the desktop and rename it, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving. This will let you know if a mod or CC item is your cause. If it is, see Mod & CC Issues: START HERE
No I don’t have any mods I don’t think I have CC I’m not sure well maybe in the houses if that’s what you are referring to but the game is hella glitchy right now it’s awful
Kabutchkey Please try this:
- Rename the Mods folder
- Delete the file called localthumbcache.package
- Restart Sims 4 and see how far you can get loading a game.
