NPC Sims in rental units using all spaces as shared

Just a thought.  Have you tried playing as a tenant living in that building, mainly to see if you can enter the landlord's apartment without going through a travel screen?  And to see if other sims can enter the tenant's apartment like they do for you landlord's apartment.

The reason I suggest these is that I have been playing a res rental for the last couple of weeks, first as the landlord and then as tenants.  I haven't seen the tenants or landlords enter another apartment uninvited.  They always come to the door and knock.  I have had other lot visitors and NPCs enter uninvited on occasion just like they do on some of regular residential lots, just not the tenants or landlord.  So, if it is the tenants in your case, I suggest you take a good look at the lot and make sure you've got the space allocated correctly to the apartments and to make sure that there are no routing blocks.

All spaces are allocated correctly, only the outside balconies are shared spaces, once you go through a door you end up in one of the units... and my Sim cannot enter any other unit (neither as tenant nor as a landlord) without going through a travel screen... it's the NPC tenants that are waltzing in un-blocked, even with the no-trespass thingies on the front door... guess it's the bug luthienrising mentioned... thanks tho!
