I've made two tools to try to ease the pain - a tool to fix sliders and one to fix alpha hairs and skin overlays that look strange after the patch. I successfully tested with a hair and it should work with skins and any other CAS items that don't look right because the textures are LRLE. Both can be run on individual packages and as a batch fixer.
