Organized debug could not be turned on

Question

Helloo, I can't for the life of me get organised debug to work from the better build buy mod by twistedmexi--it worked fine on my old laptop, all my other mods work, and I've tried so many internet solutions but so far I just keep getting the error message below -->

Organized debug could not be turned on because TS4 is unable to access some of its own files. If you're on Windows, this usually means UAC is turned on and is blocking TS4. Set your TS4-x64.exe to run as administrator to fix it.

I've run as an administrator, excluded TS4 from my antivirus, turned all my antivirus programs off, repaired the game, removed and redownloaded the mod, and updated/restarted my computer more times than I can count--any advice would be much appreciated, I literally cannot live without this mod lmao

First, ensure you have the latest version of the Better Build Buy mod (version 2.7 as of October 15th), and if you do, make sure you are not using debug, liveedit, MOO, or entitlement cheats, and ensure you have not installed the buildcam or expandable catalog separately as they're included in the latest version of Better Build Buy. Lastly, I would recommend clearing your cache, as this fixes the most common issues with The Sims 4. If you need help with that, I'll link an article with instructions. Hope this helps 🙂

Hey, thank you so much for your message! I'm afraid it's still not working though 😢 I cleared my cache on the ea app and in the sims 4 folder, checked it was the latest version, and deleted all my other mods too just to make sure nothing was interfering but I'm still getting the same errror message. Do you know anything else I can try?

I'm so sorry to hear that ☹️ It's most likely an issue with the mod then since you removed all other mods, and still had the same error.
