Origin Sims 4 play button, repair button, and update game button not working.

so i recently just downloaded a bunch of cc. i go to play my game & i’m pressing the play button, when i press it, origin minimizes like sims 4 is about to start up and then it doesn’t start and origin opens back up. i can’t repair or update my game, since yk, the buttons aren’t working.

im using a mac computer if that helps, pls help
