[patch 1.121] gameplay lockup just after midnight

Hi, I have the latest update, my game keeps freezing at a particular time "12.03 am" certain animations still play but nothing happens. When I first updated i renamed my sims 4 folder so the game would make a new one. I then downloaded mccc from the proper site it was tagged as 1.21 compatible and the game ran ok for maybe 2 sim days then this happened . I tried changing what was happening at 12.03 but it didn't help. the clock just stops at 12.03. no error file is generated.

This is a result of an EA-side issue that can be triggered by the MCCC Marriage module:

known issue: Deaderpool - MC Command Center - Marriage module – due to an EA-side issues not fixable in the mod, game may lock up just after midnight; this might apply only to Gallery-downloaded households, but this is unconfirmed. If you’re having this issue, turn off auto-marriages. EA has been informed of the issue at their end.

billblogs We've seen nonscript mods interfere with aspects of gameplay for Events. I recommend renaming your Mods folder.

luthienrising yeah I did but after i sorted it I didn't realise that scrips had been disabled again for some reason. Just gonna have to start all over again. lol,

I only have mccc. I did take it away and the game unfroze but when I put it back in, even after clearing my cache, it went back to freezing. I don't want to play without mccc because the autonomous mean and mischievous actions disrupt my gameplay so I'm hoping that there is a solution soon.

For the Event, use a separate save, not your regular one.

luthienrising yeah it was with only MCCC in my mods folder. I think it might have something to do with the event. It has not done it again so far. The thing with scripts getting disabled a second time really messed up my save file, everyone was aged up. I play on long long long life stages with mccc and was over 225 sim days into the game.

I have the same issue but my mods have been updated. It only happens for certain households.
