About This Thread This thread tracks Sims 4 mods and CC that have been "broken" or made obsolete by game update 1.122, March 17, 2026, and the March 18 and March 23 hotfixes, or declared unsupported by their creators. [patch 1.122] Game launches to black screen with main-menu words but no picture
I accidentally update my game without knowing that the mod and cc are broken since the marketplace is out. It updated like usual, but it won't open after that. So I tried to repair it on the EA app before trying to open it again. Failed, but I kept trying to open it without thinking to remove the mod and cc in the game. After awhile, it did open and load like usual, until the menu appeared like that. I can't interact with anything, even the escape button. I need to forced the game closed to quit the game. I might try again later with mod and cc removed. - title edited for clarity - Luth
all my skills, relationships etc disappeared URGENT
hey, i just wanna know if someone has the same issue after updating the new version. it started when i download new pack from the fall sale, when i opened the game, created sim and wanted to play as them i got error code that something went wrong. i didnt care so much but when i tried load up my 2 years old save and wanted to play as the family in the save, i got loading screen and then it took me back to world select without any error or some pop up. I tried deleting all my modes and it worked, i got in the save and it load up but now my 2 year old project family is without job, relationships, skills.. can i get it back or am doomed? only the son has school and his perfect grades but my superstar matriarch is superstar no more. vampire stats stayed the same.My game freezes after giving birth/naming offspring
My sim was finally living the good life. High in her career, earning that bread and had been engaged. Close to solving the strangerville mystery she got abducted by aliens and was expecting Twins. She went into labour and at the hospital I named the twins and as I closed off the naming tab the game froze I waited for 5 minutes and nothing only her and the doctor appeared to be frozen while her fiance was stuck in a support loop. Everyone else in the hospital was also in a loop and I could not click anywhere only the three dots at the top to exit the game. I had saved when she went into labour so I thought nothing of it. Closed out, repaired the game, deleted cache and went back in. I got the same issue. 2nd try I took out pandasama child birth mod. Same issue I took out mcc and rpo same issue I even tried sending alone to hospital and the same thing I dont want to start the save all over again.💔
No searching in search bar after the blue EA icon.
After the EA blue icon, my search bar in build mode with Sims 4 will not work. Either it crashes when i try to search or it brings up strange things when I type in debug. Or other items are also mixed up. I have 200 custom content items with 7 programs running with Sims 4. Doesn't matter if I keep the cc folder in the game or remove it to my desktop, I get the same result with the search bar. I have also tried to repair the game 4 times. Nothing. I also have remove the cache files several times. Should I remove the EA program and reinstall?? I have also turned off automatic updates, if this is not going to be an issue. I am at a loss for what to do next. Have tried everything.black stripes on sim
i havent played sims since august 2025. and since last week ive been trying to debug the game. firstly it would keep looping the world i somehow fixed that and now theres this i cant seem to fix it. i know that its a CC issue. i did 50/50 several times, deleted the cache, updated CC's but it isnt working. Also the sim is perfectly fine in CAS. i tried taking everything off my sim but it was still covered in black patches. if anyone know how to fix this or the possible list of CC that could be causing this please let me know. thankyouPack are not included even tho they are downloaded
So i have packs and now my game does not load any of them to the game. It says you dont have these packs even tho i have and i have downloaded them all and my ea says i have them downloaded. I tried repair all the packs and everything but still nothing works.I cleaned out my mods folder, my cc are not working. my mods are not working.
I deleted the game and reinstalled it, did everything. I removed mods and cleaned out the folder that I can reinstall the new update mods. my cc is not working because I removed everything and it is not working. Nothing is working. I really get tired of this. Every time I have fix the game over and over again.
Cannot Edit Restaurant Lots
Whenever I enter build/buy mode on restaurant-type lots, I cannot save my progress. I cannot save my custom menu nor edit any of the uniforms. Yes, I play with Mods/CC, but I also ran multiple tests to remove any bad mods or CC. I cannot save my progress; I have to force restart my computer. I cannot delete the lot in edit world mode either.
