Play Household Button Completely Disappeared?

Hello everyone, 

I'm in desperate need of help because I don't know what to do. Because of this super frustrating issue, I have not been able to play my game for months and I have tried everything to my knowledge to resolve the issue, including going through my mods and removing the ones that I believed had potential to cause this issue with no luck.

I am able to load up my game and my saves, no problem. However, when I load a save and it takes me to the map, I try selecting a lot. Whenever I do, the Play button is missing. I can't play any households for any existing Sims, or move new Sims into homes or apartments either. 

Recently, I haven't even been able to load old saves, because I'm stuck on the loading screen. I once let my save load for over 24 hours (yes, I kept the game running for that long in hope that it would magically load), and it was STILL stuck on the loading screen. I have a gaming PC, and don't experience any lagging whatsoever, even when I was able to play my game without any issues. 

This issue also will not allow me to edit or place lots.

I play The Sims 4 on PC, with quite a bit of mods. I have tried removing all script mods, spent countless hours reading through forums and removing any outdated mods, and removing mods that I downloaded around the time that the issue began. I've even deleted a few save files, thinking that my saves were corrupted, when that wasn't any help either.

What mod(s) could possibly cause this issue? I'm really at a loss here.

I also want to mention that I cannot open the game's settings without the menu saying "Title" and 3 different buttons that say "Ok" on the bottom.
