pls help! sickness problem

hello 🙂 i am playing sims 4 and my sims keep getting illnesses. but the problem is i do not have the get to work expansion?? and so all the answers to help ur sim dont work.. i cant buy medicine and it keeps telling me to go to the doctor but i cant find any place that lets me go to said doctor. i do not know what to do. my sims keep dying off because of the illness.. i tried looking through my mods folder to find any illness related stuff but i could not find anything. please help!

    @starryland 

    Why can't you buy medicine?  Medicine can be ordered on a computer.  It cures most illnesses.

    @starryland 

    Unless you use a mod that made it so your sims won't die from sickness. As CGrant wrote you can buy medicine, drink healthy green tea and if there is a child in the household he can make a healthy potion on the chemistry station.
