Progress going back

Ok, I'm new to posting on this kind of thing and barely know what I'm doing here.

Since I downloaded the most recent sims update yesterday I've been having a few odd problems. I saved the game yesterday and quit, then logged back on a little while later and the time in my game had gone back to what it was when I opened it the first time, some of the things I'd done had happened though, and some hadn't. Today while I was playing I went into CAS and when I left some game progress hadnt happened from before I entered CAS. Also One of my sims had had a baby before I went into CAS, but when I went into it she was shown as still pregnant. Also it seems like whenever I tell my sims to do something they stand and wait for several game minutes before they do it, or they don't do it at all. I just feel like since the last update the game has been quite glitchy, lots of little glitches and odd things.
