Proposal pop up - immediately engaged?

Hi 

my sim got a call from their partner saying they think they are going to pop the question, what should they do. 

clicked say yes and my sims were immediately engaged without a proposal or choice 

Sims are now engaged, which isn’t a massive issue but it stripped me of gameplay I was saving for Love Day.

Anyone else?
