Question about 'Help homework'

Hi, I have 3 sims, R, J, and S sim studying in University in my household. R sim  usually finishes homework in a short time as a vampire. And he mostly helps the other sims' homework with his free will. The problem is that he can help only S sim. I can see the interaction,'Help Homework' on S Sim but can't see this on J sim. Is there anything requires to get helped? All of them are currently in terms.

One thing I want to mention is that R and S sim are in Britechester, and J sim is in Foxbury. Will this be the reason R sim cannot help J's homework?

    if they aren't in the same school, then i think that could be the reason why, but i'm not completely sure. all of my sims have (coincidentally) attended the same school so all of my sims have used this feature without any problems. i would suggest trying it again. have the sim from britechester help the sim from foxbury and see if it occurs again. if it does, then it's most likely a feature in the game.

    @jasmineve99Thanks. My sima will have the graduation ceremony next day. I will move the other 2 to Foxbury, then I will try one more time.

    @jasmineve99 I discovered that all the sims have to be in the same major to get helped. I added another female sim and put her into Psychology major in Foxbury. All of my sims are now in Foxbury but my vamp sim still is able to help homework to S sim only, because S and my vamp sim R are studying for Biology, J sim is studying for computer science, and Female S sim is studying for Psychology in Foxbury. My R sim still only able to help homework only for male S sim which is in the same major.

    well, i'm glad you were able to figure it out. i didn't know this was even a mechanic in the game so i'll keep this in mind when i play university again in the future. anyways, happy gaming. 🙂
