RAM for mods and CC

My entire Sims 4 folder goes up to 127 GB of storage because of my HUGE AMOUNT of CCs. I have a pretty weak computer which I'm about to upgrade because my currently is lagging the * out of my game. B...

    @ClaraGreta  Having a giant pile of custom content doesn't actually use up a lot of RAM.  The game doesn't load all the cc itself, just pointers for everything except the items actually in use.  So you could get away with 8 GB RAM, although if you're thinking of futureproofing or multitasking, 16 would be better.  You really don't need to go higher than that.  Any time Sims 4 uses more than 10 GB RAM, it's a bug or a glitch or a broken mod; the game itself should never use that much memory no matter how large your Mods folder is.
