Re: [ARCHIVED] How to use Mods/CC on PC

Hello.
Im a very new Sims 4 player, and i wanted to download some CC to spice up my sims' looks, but none of the ones i download show up. i can only see the EA original ones.
There is no "Tray" folder. Im not sure what's wrong with my files. everyone's look different to mine. i downloaded TS4 from Origin. Not Steam.
sorry for my bad english. I used a Translator.

Hi @Sakurabound. CC doesn't go in the folder where the game program is. It goes in the folder where the game stores things like your Saves and settings. You'll find this in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. Put the CC in the folder called Mods.

You can add subfolders too, to keep it organized. I like to do that by creator, so I can find the right folder if they update their CC. For example, Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods > peacemaker > files go here.

This is also where you'll find the Tray folder. CC doesn't go in the Tray folder, though! That's where lots and households go. It's your "Library" (where lots and households you save to the Library go, or ones you download from the Gallery).
