@peacockgal11 I think I saw something similar. I tested this with two sims. One had the skill levels and everything else listed for promotions, the other did not have any skill level displayed in the career tab at first. If I didn't see the skill requirements listed on the one sim, I would have thought the only thing for promotion was the daily task. The display did correct itself after a reboot.

A guide is here for the astronaut career, maybe check your career level against this list and make sure you have the required skills. Astronaut Career Guide 

If the skill level requirement for promotion do not appear on your career tab, that may be the reason for not getting promotions.

    Thank you so much!!! This helped, also the update with audio bug fixed helped as well but this work way more than I expected so thank you!!!

    Hi, I'm playing on PS4 and my sim is stuck at level one I've got the tick for the promotion but it won't go any further I've tried 3 saves and the same thing happens on each one? Any advice

    Sorry if it sounds confusing just don't know how to describe that well.

    Sorry for the late reply! Although I’m not entirely sure, I believe the problem is that they’re not showing the requirements to get promoted in the careers panel in your game. (eg. level 4 of logic skill.) I don’t know how to change this, but there are other ways of finding out what skills you need! For example, this site explains the Astronaut career and lists all requirements for getting promoted. https://www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/careers/astronaut/
