Hi there!
I had updated MCC prior but it didn’t work…after reading your response I did update a couple other mods and deleted one and things are working again! Thanks so much for your help.
- Hi, which mods did you update,
and which one did you delete? I am having the same issue. i can't add or edit any holidays...Much appreciated @hunibon The current most common cause of this is a known issue with the TOOL Mod. When you want to use the holidays feature, save, exit, remove the mod, and reload the game. It won't affect anything you've already done with TOOL Mod.
Hey! So I had already updated MCC but it didn’t work.
I deleted XML injector (I think it’s called?)
I updated Fashion Authority and Relationship Overhaul.
let me know if that helps you!
@akerr580 XML Injector is cleared for the patch. It also doesn't do anything alone. If you delete XML Injector, what you do is stop other mods from being seen by the game. If deleting XML Injector fixed something for you, it's a mod that requires it that was broken.

This worked for me as well. Fashion Authority was the problem. I updated the package and things went back to normal!
- @jamilaaxox I've been struggling with this issue for MONTHS!!! THANK YOU!!!

@MadiPenguino Sometimes it’s also MCCC. So if you update/delete Fashion Authority and you still have the problem, then check MCCC. But hopefully you never have this problem again😳

I am also having this problem, but none o fthe things suggested here have worked.
@thestarrsimmer Have you tried a new save with an empty mods folder after deleting localthumbcache?

So, this is how I got mine to work...I took the advice given and completely removed the mods folder, reopened the game, started a new save file, and it worked correctly...Then I closed the game, and started re-adding mods little by little until I found the mod that was causing the problem...As it turns out, it was indeed the Fashion Authority mod causing the problem. I thought I'd removed it before using Curse Forge originally, but that didn't remove the mod completely, as the mod was still in the mods folder. So, I removed it directly and reopened the game...that fixed it.
@thestarrsimmer There's an October 27 update available for that mod.
I've just started to have this problem out of nowhere. Last week my game was fine, but now I can't add holidays, the whole box with holiday events doesn't show up and the holidays disappear from the calendar on the day it's meant to be happening. All my mods are updated and I don't have that Fashion Authority mod so I don't know what went wrong and when.
@Jseagullxx Have you tested with only updated and cleared mods? See Broken/Updated Mods & CC Also have you checked with no mods/CC? Full instructions: vanilla testing
