@CrystalWB I'm fairly certain that it's a mod related thing as urns should be able to go into anyone's inventory, even if it's been in someone elses inventory and/or engraved.
There are many workarounds for adding a ghost to the house but if you come across the ghost, if you right click on them, it should have an option for you to add them to the household or if you have the Spellcaster pack, if one of your sims knows the deathdify spell, they can summon the ghost by clicking on the urn/gravestone

    Unfortunately all options to add the ghost to the household where not available. I thought it was because the house was full. So I moved Andromeda (the sister out) and then tried to add Arielle to her household but the option never showed. I used a cheat to add her. I also used a mod to get another urn for Arielle. So there is the one at the parents house and one at Andromeda's house. I'll have to take some time to figure out which mod is causing the issue with the urn as well as the missing option to add ghosts to the household.

    I noted paying today that death by emotion seems more common. Andromeda died from being mortified today and her dad died from laughter. I escaped without saving in hopes they will be okay when I play again. Unfortunately it had been a long time since I saved so I lost about a sims week worth of progress. I don't feel like trying to play again today, that was stressful. I've been playing this family for over a year. I'll try again another day.

    @CrystalWB There's a mod called Better Eceptions by TwistedMexi which writes a report on your mods and can tell you which ones are causing issues that I reccomend if your having mod issues and there are multiple things such as the MCCC mod which allows you to disable death by emotions: as a person who lost a sim I'd had for literal years from death by laughter, I understand how much it sucks to suddenly lose sims so I hope this helps any

    @Idiosyncratic53 The weird bit is I'm not getting last exceptions for the most part. I got one yesterday but it was for Carl's Gameplay Overhaul. I didn't get any today and I still can't put the urn in inventory. I will try the Twisted Mexi better exceptions mod to see if it gives more insight. MCC seems overwhelming to me and I don't want to check if it conflicts with anything I already have. Thank you for the recommendations though.
