Re: CAS presets disappear in live mode?

Hi @SimmingShame Your issue is most likely that those preset files aren't currently game-compatible. You may simply need to create that effect in CAS without presets.

😢 I hope this isn't the case. I have noticed that when I'm in-game if I am able to replace the presets and it will show up when I put them back in-game. I did some more experimenting and found that the presets stay even after I travel with them. The last time I put their presets back on, before placing them back in the game, I saved them in my library. I placed that version of them in game to see if the presets would stay and they did, surprisingly. If I could just figure out a way to copy the sim that I created in CAS and transfer it over to the one I edited after they had been in game, it would be great. I tried to swap them but that didn't work either. Do you know if there is a way to update presets like you can with sliders? Thank you for replying to me. You are such a big help in the community and I really appreciate your efforts.

I'm not sure what you mean about a way to update presets? Sims 4 Studio has no batch fixes that I know of -- it generally will introduce one only if there's an issue at a game update. You'd be looking to see if the creator updated it.

Do you have any other CC that this preset is using? CC eyes, for example?

That's exactly what I meant actually. I know that via Sims 4 Studio, you can update sliders, so I thought that maybe this was possible for presets. I have a lot of presets. I have them for almost every part of the body. I have the more presets mod but Zerbu. The presets I have these sims wearing are by Obscurus and Poyoyo.I did check the creator's Patreon and found nothing about an update. I should also say that these sims are heavily modded. They have a lot of CC on them, including eyes. I did play for a bit last night and saw that the presets stick after replacing the presets and placing them back in game. It was inconvenient, but it's worked so far. I did update a slider by Redheadsims for height and used it with these sims. It works, but I thought it could be the culprit. I removed it and deleted the local thumb cache, but still encountered the same issue after restarting the game. I even reinstalled my game and still, I had the same issue.

Oh goodness, this is so frustrating. I went into CAS and removed the eyes and the problem still persisted. I then removed all my CC makeup and eyes and still the problem persists. I have never encountered an issue like this before. I was able to remake them somewhat in CAS, but it's not the same as having my original. I can't figure out what could be causing this. I should also mention that the sims that I'm having this issue with are teens. This doesn't seem to be happening with young adults, or children. It's been a while since I played with teens so I really don't know how long this has been going on.
